Unable to create data tables

Summary



When attempting to create data tables in Pega 7.1.9, the below message is observed. There does not appear to be a way to create a new data table.


Error Messages



"Data Tables have been replaced by the new local data storage format. Please click 'Convert' on each data table to convert them into the new format. To create storage for a new data type, go to the Data Explorer."


Steps to Reproduce



Create data tables in Pega 7.1.9.


Root Cause



This is a change (from Pega 7.1.8) in the functionality.

Resolution

Data tables no longer exist in Pega 7.1.9 and you can not create new ones. Instead, use the new local data storage feature.
