Unable to create a Datatable with required properties

When PRPC Developers try to create a datatable using the Data Table Wizard, an error message is shown and the process does not run to completion.

Error Messages

"** Error while creating ListView: .pyFields(1).pySelectionProperty: ** Rule resolution identified 2 versions of the rule with class Rule-Obj-Property and name MyClass!MyProperty"

Steps to Reproduce

Attempt to create a new Datatable using the Data Table wizard.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. Searching our support application, it was found that these same symptoms were reported and resolved in a separate PRPC release - this fix has been ported into PRPC 6.2SP1 to address the same defect.

Install Hotfix HFix-9835 using Update Manager.  This hotfix has been tested successfully.
