Unable to create a microsite in Pega Marketing on 7.1.8

Summary



Unable to create a microsite in Pega Marketing after upgrading to Pega 7.1.8. When doing so an error is displayed indicating RuleSetName is not specified:

Error Messages



** RuleSetName is not specified

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to Pega Marketing
  2. Verify that you have the correct privileges to be able to create microsites and not just view them
  3. Right click on the microsite tree node and select New
  4. Enter the required details on the new form and click create
  5. New form reamins open and fails to create the Microsite

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.

Resolution



This issue is resolved by hotfix item HFix-22439
