Unable to delete a property from the Decisioning Landing Page



Unable to delete a property from the Decisioning page using the cross next to the property.

Error Messages

"Class does not exist"

Steps to Reproduce

1.Navigate to Decisioning>Proposition Management>Hierarchy landing page.
2.Add a property to the Hierarchy or refer an existing User created property.
3.Click the Cross icon, under Action column, next to the property in order to delete it and confirm delete.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules and HFix-10421 introduces this behavior.


This issue is scheduled to be resolved in Pega 7.1.8. and 
FDBK-10961 is created to track the issue.
To circumvent the existing issue, Users can delete the property by
  1. Traverse to Designer Studio -> Application Explorer
  2. Navigate to corresponding SR class under which the property is created.
  3. Delete the property using Property rule form delete button.
