Unable to Edit Data Tables in Excel in IE11

Summary



When user running application in IE11 attempts to edit data table in Excel, the "Errors Loading Transfer XML data" error mesasge pops up When dismissed, "Error Launching PegaRULES Import Manager" error message is raised


Error Messages



"Errors Loading Transfer XML data"
"Error Launching PegaRULES Import Manager"

Steps to Reproduce



1. Open any data table from the Manager or CaseManager7 portal.
2. Press "Edit in Excel" button.


Root Cause



Edit data tables in Excel functionality under IE11 is not supported in Pega 7.1.5.

Resolution



An enhancement request has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
