Summary
Unable to edit delegated paragraph on the User portal. A popup displays on editing the delegated paragraph.
Error Messages
This item has limited configuration access. Switch to Case Manager portal to configure the delegated item.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Paragraph rule
- Delegate the Paragraph rule to the user
- Edit the delegated rule. The popup message displays
Root Cause
This behavior is as per the Pega product design.
Resolution
Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:
The Edit functionality is available only if the rule type is of Rule-Obj-Class on the Case Worker portal. However, it is Rule-HTML-Paragraph for the Paragraph rule type. Hence, there is no accessibility to edit this rule from the Case Worker portal. The modifications can only be made from the Case Manager portal.
