Summary
Unable to filter and sort Description column on grid at runtime. However, it is a Pega out-of-the-box grid from the searchresultsworkcasesgrid section.

Steps to Reproduce
- Create a grid
- Include a column as a label in the grid
- Include "<pega:reference name=".TaskDescription" mode=literal/> in the label
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. When the user includes a label with Pega tags, the sorting and filtering facilities are disabled as the label is considered as an constant without any control.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
- Change the label control to text input and make it read only on the Presentation tab
- Enable filter by format
