Unable to get property "drop" of undefined or null reference



When changing the dropdown in the attach a screen shot functionality, the note input field is expected to pre-populate. However, a JavaScript error occurs.

Error Messages

Unable to get property "drop" of undefined or null reference.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log in as default user. Create > Case > General task.
2. Click Advanced under Attachments.
3. Click Add button and select Attach a Screen Shot option.
4. Before selecting, open debugger tool (Press F12). No error in console can be observed.
5. After selecting, error is observed.


Root Cause

Usage of "document.all" and "element.all" API is not supported in IE11.


Replace document.all and element.all with document.getElementById which is compatible with all the browsers. 
Install HFix-23901 and the dependent HFix-23190 to resolve the issue.
