Unable to Import AES 7.1.7 jar to upgrade

Summary



When attempting to import the Autonomic Event Services (AES) 7.1.7 jar into Pega, it is hanging and not importing anything into the system.

Error Messages



Caused by:
java.security.AccessControlException: Access denied (java.util.logging.LoggingPermission control)
at java.security.AccessController.throwACE(AccessController.java:102)


Steps to Reproduce



Attempt to import the AES 7.1.7 jar using the import wizard in the developer portal.


Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. There is a java security policy preventing the import from happening.

Resolution



Perform the import from another system using prpcUtils command line utility.
