Unable to import Package with Schema Changes using Import wizard

Summary



Getting warning while importing packages which are having schema changes. Schema changes includes creation of tables and indexes in DB but they are not working.


Error Messages



You cannot apply the schema changes automatically. To apply schema changes automatically, you must have the privilege SchemaImport, and the Data-Admin-System-Settings database/AutoDBSchemaChanges must be set to true.

You should download the DDL and use your database tools to apply the changes manually before continuing. You can download the DDL by pressing the button below.

If you continue without schema changes, instances in the archive may not be loaded to the correct tables and your application may not work correctly.

 


Steps to Reproduce



Import package which are having schema changes using import wizard from Designer Studio.


Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. AutoDBSchemaChanges requires PROD level 2

Resolution



Perform the following local-change: 

This issue is resolved through the following local change: Change PROD Level for given PRPC instance to 2 by modifying System Name record. Then go to SMA> Advanced> Conclusion cache and Clear In Memory and In Database Conclusion Cache followed by a JVM restart. Now you should be able to automatically execute SQL and perform schema import.
