Summary



Unable to install the compulsory HFix-44612 after installing Pega 7.4 and Pega Insurance Industry Foundation (IIF) 7.4.


Error Messages



ERROR [email protected] - com.pega.pegarules.priv.updatemanager.InstallException: Could not install hotfix HFIX-44612 : Error Occurred During Import: Invalid clipboard stream detected in module PegaArchiveException.RuleArchiveLoader. Reason: importContents(PegaArchive)


Steps to Reproduce

Install Pega 7.4 and Pega IIF 7.4 using either Hotfix manager or Import wizard.


Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. HFix-44612 is incorrectly build.


Resolution

  1. Install the pre-requistie HFix-44936
  2. Restart the server
  3. Install HFix-45824
