Unable to launch Installation and Upgrade Assistant

Summary



Unable to launch the Installation and Upgrade Assistant (IUA) Graphical User Interface (GUI) when running the command: java -jar PRPC_Setup.jar. This occurs when performing a fresh install of Pega 7.2.2 on Linux.

The following information displays in the Command Prompt:

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. The environment is not configured to run a GUI.


Resolution



To launch the IUA correctly, work with Linux administrators to export the display.
