Unable to localize and render string with French operator locale

Summary



Unable to localize and render strings after exporting them and importing the translated strings. This occurs when the locale is set to French.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to an instance
  2. Set the locale of the operator to fr_FR
  3. Run the flow


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The apostrophe used in the translated value of the 'This feature is not available in your browser' field value in French resulted in JavaScript syntax issues. This occured in the pzClientLocaleData HTML rule for the gStrFeatureNotSupportedInBrowser variable.


Resolution

Apply HFix-38723.
