Unable to localize and render strings when locale set to French

Summary



Unable to localize and render strings after exporting them and importing the translated strings, after setting the locale of the operator to 'fr_FR' and logging in to an instance. This behavior occurs when the locale is set to French.

Steps to Reproduce



Log in to the instance with locale set to fr_FR.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Apostrophe in the translated value of the 'This feature is not available in your browser' FieldValue in French resulted in JavaScript syntax issues in the pzClientLocaleData HTML rule for the gStrFeatureNotSupportedInBrowser variable.



Resolution



Apply HFix-35859.
