Unable to log in after data is migrated to a new database



Unable to log into the Chordiant Marketing Director (CMD) client application after migrating the database to a new environment and updating VenvDbase parameter value in the Vanatge.init file to reflect the changes.

Error Messages

Unknown login error. Please contact your system administrator.

Steps to Reproduce

Log in to the CMD client application.

Root Cause

The TNSNAMES.ORA file had a special character for the modified connection. Additionally, database access permissions were not provided for the new environment during data migration.


Update the TNSNAMES.ORA file (with the correct information of the modified connection) and provide database access permissions.
