Unable to log in to application when offline is enabled

Summary



Pega Hybrid Client (HC) 7.41.3.0 is installed on Pega 8.2.2.

Unable to log in to the application when offline is enabled for any case type.



Error Messages



Your session has expired. Please login again.

Error on the device is: W/ErrorResponse: Could not parse error from WWW-Authenticate Header.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Mark any case type as Offline enabled.
  2. Log in to the application.


Root Cause



In Pega 8.2, the mobile client was set to use oAuth authentication by default. The issue occurred because the offlinehttp service was set with the basic Auth and user had the same authentication as the client.


Resolution



Make the following change to the operating environment:

Change offlinehttp authentication to oAuth.
