Unable to obtain Default option value with Dropdown control

Summary
The default value is not displayed in a dynamic select dropdown.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a section
2. Add a dropdown menu and configure it using a Data Page as the Data Source
2. Set the Default Value
EXPLANATION
Default value set should be one of the values of the results for dropdown. This is as per design of the control.
“Default Value” is showing one of the particular value among the dropdown value. To show an default caption we should use “Include placeholder” option.
