Unable to open generated Parse XML rules

SA-5494

Summary

Parse XML is not correctly built when integrating with a Web-Service. While using the generated Parse XML, developer was getting InboundMappingException and unable to open the generated Parse XML rules.

Error Messages

com.pega.pegarules.pub.services.InboundMappingException: Caught unexpected exception mapping inbound data: PRRuntimeError

The property .pyTreeNodes was of mode Page List while com.pega.pegarules.data.internal.clipboard.ClipboardPropertyImpl.setValueOverride(Object) was expecting a String or Page mode. Details: (none)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run Connector and MetaData wizard.
2. Import WSDL.
3. Run Service Activity.

Root Cause

In few cases, Parse XML rules generated cannot be opened due to BLOB corruption issue introduced by HFIX-9770. This fix tries to reduce BLOB size but in certain cases it can register an empty PageList property as String property in BLOB.

Resolution

Reported issue was resolved by HFIX-2053.
