Unable to pass SubReport data as a Param in Main Report

Summary
Report Definition is configured which has a column with Divide function(Takes two inputs, the two inputs are being sourced from Sub Reports(SubRep1, SubRep2)
When passing the Parameters to Divide function as SubRep1.Total and SubRep2.NewTotal then the system is accepting the parameters.
While running the report definition an exception is thrown.
Error Messages
Error: An error occurred on generating the query for the report definition - null
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a RD with two sub reports(The sub reports should return at least one COUNT column).
2. Add a column in Main RD with Divide function and pass the SubReport columns as a params to the function.
3. Run the report definition.
Root Cause
A backwards compatibility defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Resolution
Apply HFix-34069.
