Steps to Reproduce



1. Create a report definition.
2. Schedule the report to send email of report details in Excel format as attachment.

Root Cause



When the report is scheduled, a Schedule Task queue item is created. In this queue item, the Agent name (pyAgentName property) is missing. Email messages were not sent because the scheduled task for the report became corrupted. 

The scheduled task item did not have pyAgentName set; therefore, the report was not processed by the Scheduled Task Agent.

Apparently the scheduled task item got corrupted either during an upgrade or when the database was unavailable, database temporarily down.

Resolution



Reschedule the report.
Using Report Browser landing page, delete the faulty scheduled task  and recreate the scheduled report.
