Unable to run extract rules for BIX

Customer recently upgraded from PRPC v6.3 SP1 to PRPC 7.2 along with BIX . After upgrade, they are trying to run BIX extract rule. However, the extract run keeps failing.

Error Messages

No Instance found in the database
Could not process : pxCommitDateTime column does not exist.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an application (BIX configured) in PRPC v6.3 SP1 environment.
  2. Upgrade from PRPC v6.3 SP1 to PRPC 7.2.1.
  3. Run the BIX extract on work object that is created on PRPC v6.3 SP1.

Root Cause

'pxCommitDateTime' column is not present in the work objects table in PRPC v6.3 SP1. As upgrade done from PRPC v6.3 SP1 to PRPC 7.2.1, it is expecting pxCommitDateTime column in the work objects table, when customer is going for incremental data extraction by enabling "Use last time as Start" option.

Use this work around instead of enabling "Use last update time as start", to achieve incremental data extraction.
