Unable to save Summary Report chart on the Internet Explorer browser.
Error Messages
JavaScript error on console: Object doesn't support property or method 'appendChild'
Steps to Reproduce
- Click Chart Actions.
- Click Save As Image on the Internet Explorer browser.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
In the Internet Explorer browser, the innerHTML of the report element node returned 'Undefined'. Ideally, textContent must be used since it is used to set the downloaded filename.
Resolution
Apply HFix-53892.
