Unable to select specific class in Connect SOAP Wizard

SA-1034

Summary

While utilizing the Connect SOAP Wizard the third screen (Review and Save) contains a drop down "Reuse Layer." This allows one to select the layer in which the rules need to be created.
However, if one wanted to use a specific class which does not appear on the drop down, the option is not available such as if the class is a child of a class / layer that is part of the drop down.

For example:
PRPC allows the option of creating the rules in Class " A-FW-ENT-INT-" but if one needed to create their rules in one of the child classes. i.e in "A-FW-ENT-INT-B-", how can this be specified?

Resolution

The explanation for this behavior is as follows: T
he Review and Save screen has changed post 7.1.4. As of 7.1.5, there is no longer a Reuse Layer dropdown. Instead, one can now select a parent (base) class like how it used to with the old Connector & Metadata wizard. A developer can't customize the parent class with the new SOAP Wizard in 7.1.4. There are two options for this issue:

1. Upgrade to the latest ML (preferable)
2. Use the old Connector & Metadata Wizard (launch it from Designer Studio -> Integration -> Connectors -> Create Other Integration)
