Unable to set width and column lines are invisible in listview

SA-12520

Summary

User is not able to set width to fit the results to the space provided in a listview. The column separation lines are also invisible. This is observed after an upgrade from PRPC 6 to Pega 7.1.6. It stopped working after including pyMetaTags such as below.

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge"/>

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a section, include "Free-form Layout". Add a basic input field.
2. Change the control from "text" to "ListView".
3. Configure parameters for listView.

4. Include the below pyMetaTags and check the ListView results page.
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge"/>

Root Cause

The extending of the listview’s cells is due to layout and column configuration settings applied.

Resolution

Apply the below local-change to resolve the issue.

1. In layout properties, set width as “Pixels(Fixed)”.
2. In Column properties, set properties as below. It will fix the column width to 400px. You can change it, according to the width value as required.
3. In Cell properties, go to presentation tab and check the “Wrap text” checkbox.
