Summary
Unable to add Visual Business Director (VBD) node.
Error Messages
Failed to find a 'RULE-OBJ-MODEL' with the name 'NEXTBESTACTIONMARKETINGIHCONFIGURATION' that applies to 'Data-Decision-IH-Configuration'. There were 4 rules with this name in the rulebase, but none matched this request. The 4 rules named 'NEXTBESTACTIONMARKETINGIHCONFIGURATION' defined in the rulebase are:
4 related to applies-to class 'Data-Decision-IH-Configuration', but were defined in rulesets which are not in your rulesetlist
Steps to Reproduce
Add a node in VBD.
Root Cause
VBD did not start after it failed to retrieve Interaction History (IH) configuration. This occurred when Pega Marketing was run with additional customizations made to the IH Data Transform. Visibility into rulesets that contain IH customizations must be ensured, when the VBD service was started.
Resolution
Apply HFix-40474.
