Unable to store attachments in Repository

Summary

Default content storage is selected as Store in Repository in the Application rule on the Integration&Security tab. However, the user is unable to store the attachments in the Repository and the content does not load on opening the attachment.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Application rule
  2. Select Store in Repository in Content storage
  3. Select PEGACloudfilestorage
  4. Create a case
  5. Download and open the attachment


Root Cause



The property of pxStorageType is not set in the AttachToWork activity when the repository is enabled. If pxStorageType is empty, then, the content of the document does not load in the GetAttachmentReference activity. 

Resolution



Perform the following local-change:
Add the code to set pxStorageType to Repository in the AttachToWork activity if the repository is enabled.
