Unable to switch portal/application in CMF 7.11



User has trouble launching the correct portal. The Launch functionality from the Developer portal works; however, if they launch any of the User or Manager portals, and then attempt to use that portal's Switch Portal function, nothing happens. This behavior is observed with any user that has multiple portals.

Error Messages

No error message is observed.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log into a system running PRPC 7.1.5 and the Care Management Framework 7.11 using the cmsysadmin@myhealthplan user.
  2. Launch a User or Manager portal from the Developer portal.
  3. Then attempt to use that portal's Switch Portal function.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.  The harness rules did not include the pxCaseMgrheader script.


The issue is resolved by including the pxCaseMgrheader script in the CMBusinessUser, UMManager, and CMFManager harness rules.
