Unable to use wildcard strings in BIX extract manifest file name

When using wildcard strings in BIX, the file name is not appended with data when performing an extract in CSV format.

Error Messages

Not applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create Extract rule and specify CSV output.
  2. Updated the wildcard string in the file specification tab.
  3. Execute the BIX extract rule
  4. Check the file name content

Root Cause

Per the BIX User Guide, Pega currently only allows wildcard strings to be used for XML manifest output files, not CSV manifest output files.

The BIX extract manifest file must exported as an XML file if the use of wildcard strings is desired.
