SA-8352

Summary

In the list of available applications for an operator in the switch Application menu, there is an extra  application that does not correspond to any of the available access groups associated with the operator.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

- Log in to the Case Manager portal and open the switch application menu.

Root Cause

The extra application is appearing in this menu corresponds to the access group that is specified in the organisation rule.

Resolution

This is the expected behavior in a PRPC 6.x system.

The following local-change can be implemented if a common application for operators within an organization is not required:

Change the "Define this Organization using" setting to the “Explicit Ruleset list” option and specify one or more rulesets.

This behavior has been changed in Pega 7 so that access groups defined for the organization do not appear as available application to an operator.
