Unidentified Spanish accent characters in PDF

User is trying to generate PDF from correspondence. PDF is getting generated but for Spanish characters (like ó) is displayed as ó.

Error Messages

Not applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log into PRPC 5.5 SP1.
2. Build the HTML steam with some Spanish characters
2. Write a simple activity to set the HTML stream to property by Property-set-html method.
3. Pass the property content as Markup to HTMLToPDF activity.
4. Run the activity and view the contents of generated PDF.

Root Cause

File encoding user has at application server is UTF-8. UTF-8 is not parsing the Spanish characters properly.

Perform the following local-change step:

Change the server encoding to Cp1252

Note: Changing the encoding at server level will effect the encoding for all applications hosted on it.

An enhancement request,
FDBK-17059  has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management to send the document encoding value while  creating PDF.
