Unwanted popup and alignment issue for Compatibility enabled.

Users have turned on 'compatibility mode' via 'compatibility view settings' for the domain used by pega application. (Since this domain also hosted other applications that require compatiblilty mode). And for pega application to work, render in IE, 'X-UA-Compatible' meta tag is being included in the web pages. Now the user has a requirement to show a dialog/alert similar to the designer studio in their end user portal informing users that their 'Compatibility view is enabled...'

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enable compatibility view
  2. Launch end user portal.
  3. No alert is shown indicating that compatibility view is enabled.

Root Cause

This is an expected behavior.

Local change is to include ‘pzquirks-mode-check’ text file in portal harness, similar to what we have for designer studio harness, pzStudio.
