Root Cause

This is a feature and which has been introduced in the Product from Pega 7.2, “As per the accessibility guideline, whenever any popup or modaldialog or overlay opens, focus should move to them. as the actionable element changed”.

Perform the following local-change steps:

1)      Use the auto-complete control.
2)      Remove any key event and have a Tab/Down/Enter key to launch local action.

This has been identified as a limitation and Pega is working on a configurable option feature to disable accessibility support for overlays so that application developers are free to choose the option based on requirement.
