Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the Sales Automation (SA) portal
  2. Go to Operators
  3. Select a test user
  4. Disable the test user
  5. Navigate to Pulse
  6. Tag a disabled user using @ mention
     

 

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

 

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

  1. Override pyRetrieveOperatorListForPulseReferences
  2. Invoke custom report definition where  pyRetrieveOperatorListForPulseReferences does not fetch disabled operators. The disabled operators are not suggested on a list on entering @
  3. Override pyParseMentionedItem in the class, Pega-Ext-Mentions-Users
  4. Write a When condition on step-4 to verify if the respective operator is disabled or not
