User session hangs on submitting a task on Phone Interaction after adding a note from the Add or Edit attachments window. The issue occurs post upgrading.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the Interaction portal
  2. Click New > Demo Screen Pops > Demo Pop - Connor > Accept
  3. Click Add Task > Address Change > Click Add Tasks button
  4. Click Submit to go to the next screen
  5. Click History and Attachments by clicking three dots
  6. Expand Attachments
  7. Add a note
  8. Close the window
  9. Open the Developer tools
  10. Select a checkbox on the Address Change task
  11. Click Submit. The screen freezes

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The user must not consume the pxThread.pxClientExchange value if pxThread.pxClientFrame is different from the current tracker.
