Using pxLink to open an attachment fails on an iPad (iOS 8)

SA-8934

Summary

A screen is configured to display the attachment using pxLink on an iPad, and calls the activity Work-.DisplayAttachFile which fails.
This works fine on a desktop or laptop running on any supported web browser. When testing this using the iPad, it fails to decode the URL encoding in the query string parameter and therefore cannot find the attachment as the parameter that contains the encoded "%20" in the value on the clipboard.

Error Messages

Can't open record: DATA-WORKATTACH-FILE%20 xxxxx-xxxx-xxx-xxx-WORK%20TPS-1589!20150227T013840.492%20GMT

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a case on the iPad with Pega 7 App.
2. Click on the link to open the assignment.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is that currently there is no support for downloading the attachments on Pega7 app.

Resolution

This issue is scheduled to be resolved in the next ML release and a corresponding bug item BUG-194092 is raised to address the issue.
