Validation error on saving flow without filling required fields

Summary



In Case Worker portal, saving a flow action without filling the required fields results in a validation message pop up. However, the message does not display when opening the form from Designer Studio or the Case Manager portal.


Error Messages

 

Please correct flagged fields before submitting the form


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a Case Worker portal
  2. Create a case
  3. Create a screen section with required fields and client side validation enabled on harness. The flow action should display the Save button to temporary save the work
  4. Click Save. Validation message displays


Root Cause



The pyCaseWorker section includes the pyCWPortalContent harness with the 'Render As Single Page' option checked.

Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

Customize the pyCaseWorker section and for the settings of the first dynamic layout (including pyCWPortalContent harness) uncheck the 'Render As Single Page' option.
