Validation message does not display on screen



Validation message does not display on screen. However, the validation error is present in the clipboard.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a property with Edit-Validate rule.
  2. Set the validation message to display if length of the text is more than 16 characters
  3. Use the property with pxTextInput control in a section
  4. Run the use case
  5. Provide text with more than 16 characters

Root Cause

A software use or operation error. Validation is triggered but does not display on the screen. This issue occurs in Chrome and Firefox browsers.
The property for which validation is set is present in pyWorkPage and Embedded page. In Edit-validate rule, the message is set for pyWorkPage.Page1.prop but the validation is triggered for pyWorkPage.prop.


Perform the following local-change:

Modify the validation rule to add error message to pyWorkPage.prop after that message is displayed on screen.
