Error Messages

Value Cannot Be Blank (with Icon) - EXPECTED

Steps to Reproduce

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. pzBaseCore.css and seems introduced in 7.1 ML 5

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in the PRPC v7.1.6 Maintenance Level (ML6) release, which is generally available via Media request.

As a work around for this issue you can add below changes in UserWorkForm (HTML Fragment). This rule is available for extension for any user and can be used for such local change purposes.

//Fix for radio button in 7.1.5
<style>
.iconErrorDivParent input[type='radio']{
margin-left:15px;
}
</style>

//fix for dropdown list in 7.1.5
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
if((pega.env.ua.ie) && (document.documentMode == 5))//ie && quirks mode
{
var css = '.iconErrorDiv{width:15px; display: inline; position:relative;}',//'.iconErrorDivParent select{position: relative;left: 15px;background: yellow;} .iconErrorDivParent{left: 30px;}',
head = document.head || document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0],
style = document.createElement('style');
style.type = 'text/css';
if (style.styleSheet){
style.styleSheet.cssText = css;
} else {
style.appendChild(document.createTextNode(css));
}
head.appendChild(style);
}
</script>
