Summary

The values are not aligned in the same way for Repeat grid columns and action bottom columns (footer of the grid) of the Grid Repeat Layout.

The totals row fields are shifted to the left a little.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a repeat grid.
2. Configure the grid with page list.
3. Configure grid action bottom columns to show total count of page list data.
4. Observe that at runtime, both grid body and action bottom are not aligned.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error : It is the implementation fault. The configuration is working as per its design.

Resolution

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

Grid template has been divided into three parts. Those are, Header, Body and Footer.

The row data is looping and displaying in Grid Body and the Total row is configured in Grid Footer. The expectation is to align these two parts. This cannot be done in grid.

To achieve this, Pega recommends to populate the page list with last row as total value in the background (either in the activity or data transform).
