Web Controls do not display in Windows Adapter on Interrogation

Summary



Web Controls do not display in the WebControls Tab while interrogating a Windows Adapter.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install Pega Robot Studio 8.0.1084.
  2. Open a Project.
  3. Start Interrogation on a specific Windows Adapter. Web Controls are detected in the Web Controls tab and the Object Explorer.
  4. Uninstall Pega Robot Studio 8.0.1084.
  5. Install Pega Robot Studio19.1.13.
  6. Upgrade the Project.
  7. Repeat Step 2.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Internet Explorer Heuristics failed to determine the FireEvents address.


Resolution



This feature is implemented in Pega Robot Studio 19.1.21.
