Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure a mashup.
  2. Embed it in a HTML page.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules :
Internet Explorer has a policy that it does not set cookies when serving third party content using an iframe.

It allows only websites that send a P3P header to set the cookie. P3P is a protocol for websites to declare their privacy policies.

However this protocol was not widely adopted by all browsers and is in a discarded state.

But
Internet Explorer still is hanging to that, in fact it is a lame implementation, it just checks if the header is present and does not bother about the actual header value.

Resolution

Apply HFix-35042. In addition to Hfix user must add P3P header in http/responseheader DSS rule.
P3P header: {"P3P":'CP=”ALL IND DSP COR ADM CONo CUR CUSo IVAo IVDo PSA PSD TAI TELo OUR SAMo CNT COM INT NAV ONL PHY PRE PUR UNI”'}
