When condition context issue in Declare Index rule

SA-1960

Summary

The system does not use the Source Page Context Class as a starting point to search for the ‘When’ condition rule as specified in PDN.

Error Messages

N/A

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Declare Index rule for a page list.
2. Add When condition created in the source page context class and refer it in the Declare index rule.

Root Cause

There is a documentation bug regarding using a when rule from the source page context class in the declare index rule help in PDN and this has been corrected in the documentation of PRPC v7.1.

As designed, the system uses the Applies To key part of the Declare Index rule as the Applies To key part of the when condition.

Resolution

Enhancement request FDBK-9324 has been raised to include when rules from the source page context class in future releases.

The below fixes need to be applied to allow the system to save a when rule that has the same "Applies To class" as that of the Declare Index rule:

HFIX-8077 corrects the behavior preventing one from saving the rule form when one manually places the rule name of the ‘When’ rule in the designated Smart Prompt.

HFIX-8204 corrects the associated UI issues, after installing this HFix the ‘When’ rule from the same ‘Applies To Class’ of the RDI will be selectable in the designated Smart Prompt, in addition to this one can now also launch the rule from this form.
