The Where Am I functionality does not work when case is resolved



Where Am I issue does not work when opened from the Confirmation screen where the work object is resolved.

Error Messages

Can't open the associated flow ' ' in class ' '

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create any Service case, and resolve it.
2. Process the case to status Resolved-Completed.
3. Click Where Am I icon from Tools.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Where Am I tool was included on a confirmation harness where there is no flow or assignment.
This adheres to PRPC design. This issue occurred because there is no assignment key for this particular work object in completed state.


This is a known bug in PRPC 6.x, which is fixed in Pega 7.x.
