Root Cause

The explanation for this behavior is as follows:

Since most of the issues are affecting the designer studio, there is no plan to back port all these changes to previous releases. The recommendation is to use internet explorer browser when the functionality is needed.

The other option is to down-grade Chrome to version 36 or lower or use the following workaround:

Windows:

Created a registry file (anything.reg) and paste this:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome\EnableDeprecatedWebPlatformFeatures] "1" = "ShowModalDialog_EffectiveUntil20150430"

Restart Chrome.

MAC:

Open Terminal

Paste this in: defaults write com.google.Chrome EnableDeprecatedWebPlatformFeatures -array-add "ShowModalDialog_EffectiveUntil20150430"

Press return Restart Chrome
