Wizard generates Report-Definitions using nonautogen controls

When creating a new data class and then use the wizard to add records to the data class, it creates a report definition named DataTableEditorReport.

The columns used in the report definition use controls such as keyinput, decimal and text area, which are not auto-generated. When using non auto-generated controls and adding a record in the data types, the field of the control becomes editable. For an auto-generated control such as pxNumber,pxTextArea, the field will not become editable.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: It's a product limitation that Virtual Report Definition does not support using auto-generated controls in a Report Definition.

An enhancement request, FDBK-16018, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
