Work case search does not work due to Lucene Indexing failure



Work object search agent "SystemWorkIndexer" does not catch up with work object creation. User reports that indexer runs once and indexes current cases. After sometime these new cases are not searchable.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Restart the agent through SMA and wait for the successful completion of the first iteration.
2. Check the logs for any error.

Root Cause

When the SystemWorkIndexer Agent is started there is a huge number of items to be indexed in pr_sys_workindexer_queue table and Agent crashes with database exception. Slow processing of the stored procedure is the trigger for this problem.


This issue is resolved by HFix-22210.
