Work Object does not open from UI

User has a 'Open Work By Handle' action on a dynamic layout.

During runtime, by clicking the layout as button, user is launching the corresponding workitem.

For any work object is already open for the current requester and if user tries again to open by clicking the dynamic layout, an alert is presented for the same.

However, when user clicks Ok sometimes the work object  does not open, the user is presented with an empty screen and has to refresh the site in the browser.

This is not happening frequently. If user is trying to reopen the same case, some times the work-item details fails to load onto screen and blank screen is presented.
