Error Messages

Work Object Not Found

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Upgrade from PRPC 6.2 SP1 to Pega 7.3.1.
  2. Launch the User portal.
  3. In the Search gadget, search for any work object by ID. The work object loads in a new tab.
  4. Close the tab.
  5. Search for the work object the second time. The new tab opens with the message 'Work Object Not found'.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error.

In the Review harness, issue occurs with loading the pyAssignmentListGadget section. Therefore, the failure message displays for the component stack in the out-of-the-box work- open activity.
When the Hierarchical Table is removed from the pyAssignmentListGadget section, the screen is rendered correctly.
The Design tab does not load when the Review harness is opened in Designer Studio. The application was using deprecated controls such as workarea control and panel set. Hence, new controls (such as Hierarchical Table) are not compatible with the old rules or controls.

Resolution

New controls are not compatible as the application used deprecated rules or controls.
