Work object is not in worklist or in workbasket



You have a work object which does not appear in the expected worklist or workbasket.  You need to update the status of the work object to Resolved but are unable to do so using the Clipboard.

Error Messages

Error. Page could not be saved successfully.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the work object that has a missing assignment.
  2. Select the Execute Activity action on the Clipboard and run the UpdateStatus activity.
  3. Save the page.

Root Cause

The work object cannot be saved by executing the UpdateStatus activity in the Clipboard because the work object is not locked.


The work object can be updated by running the FixWork flow.
  1. Open the work object in an end user portal.
  2. Open the Clipboard.
  3. Select Start Flow from the action menu.
  4. Enter FixWork and click Start Flow.
  5. Choose the 'Update Status & Close' option to update the status of the work object.
