Work Type Name is not valid error when editing imported specs



Specifications are imported through an import template. While editing the specifications (to link requirements or update documents), unable to save changes and an error occurs. The work type exists as one of the Supporting types as it is created due to the import.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Select Application > Overview.
  2. Click Specification in the Technical details.
  3. Click a specification from the list of specifications.
  4. Update any field and/or upload the attachment.
  5. Click Submit.

Root Cause

All the warnings were not justified for use cases which were imported.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

The extra check for the unjustified warnings was added in a custom application ruleset. This prevented the use case from being saved.

As a local-change, justify the warnings.
